STUDENTS of the Pacific Regional Seminary had the chance to visit The Fiji Times newsroom yesterday and saw first-hand the editorial process behind putting out a newspaper.
STUDENTS of the Pacific Regional Seminary had the chance to visit The Fiji Times newsroom yesterday and saw first-hand the editorial process behind putting out a newspaper.
The students, a multicultural group from different parts of the Pacific, were also shown how the newsroom functioned.

They also had the chance to ask questions on editorial policies with questions ranging from selection of letters to the editor for publishing and deadlines for reporters.

The students thanked The Fiji Times staff members for the tour saying that for many of them this was their first time to view a newsroom and learn about the way a newspaper operated.
